Meet Dr Bernard Beldholm

First there was the rigorous training provided by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Then sitting the College's demanding Fellowship examinations. Finally, Dr Bernard Beldholm was received as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). This qualification is the only one in Australia that guarantees you're dealing with a highly trained surgeon.

All FRACS surgeons are governed by rigorous standards, including participation in continuous medical education. These stringent criteria ensure that FRACS surgeons remain at the forefront of medical knowledge and expertise.

Training with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) followed. This College provides a demanding academic program as well as opportunities to operate with prominent cosmetic surgeons. Dr Beldholm has now performed, or participated in, close to 1,000 cosmetic surgery procedures.

He has also made the use of laparoscopic (keyhole surgery) techniques a priority in his practice. Providing the least invasive procedures, these techniques minimise the impact of surgery for patients.

Dr Beldholm regularly attends ACCS conferences, where he is a speaker on a wide range of topics.
